Fire Equine Territory
Skeletal Plains The Skeletal Plains are open fields of savanna with the occasional skull of unlucky horses or animals. The reason Fire Equines have their territory so harsh is because they find fighting for survival the better way to live, all for one. Be careful here, for Cobras and other dangerous animals plus other horses may be on your tail.

The Scorch Clearing The Scorch Clearing is not really a clearing, but more of a dry canyon. It is in the center of a thin cluster of dead, scraggly trees and the ground is hard and dusty like canyon without water. It is often a greeting place. Even though it is dreary and hot because of the sunlight shining through the thin tree cover, the Fire Equines love it here and protect it with their lives from trespasser. Come here to find a friend or someone to talk to.

Marsh of Many Souls The Marsh of Many Souls is sort of like the Dark Creek, but further away and just surrounded by many thick trees. It has a musty air that is poisonous and no one can stay here too long. It is said that one who has lost a loved one may come here and, if they survive, retrieve their soul from the pond and therefore bring them back to life. Will you succeed?

The Dark Creek The Dark Creek is shadowed by tall canyon walls. It is boxed in and dense trees go around it, hiding it from others. There are many reasons one would come here. Some, just to take a drink and be on their way. Others to find a romance or to claim a mare of their own will and not hers. Some even come to die, and their skeletons lie broken and shattered in the water. What will you do here?

The Oasis The Oasis is a hard to find source of clean, cool water that is like sugar to the tongue. It is too far from the rest of the territory to get here easily, and most horses are condemned to the gross water at the Dark Creek. If you, however, make it here then leaving would be like turning away fresh clovers, so consider how long you'll be staying first. You must share the water here, unless you fight for it.
Snowbound Tundra The Snowbound Tundra are plains, outlined with trees, that are eternally covered with snow. The Ice Equines chose to make their home here because of the freedom it offered and because they could keep watch on the Fire Equines, for the Oasis is just northeast of the trees. These snowy hills have one large, twisted cliff in the center that is used as a watchpost at times.

Clover Patch The clover patch isn't a patch of clovers, it's a beautiful meadow full of tasty flowers and clovers. Some horses claim it is magical, for whenever a flower or clover is plucked from the grass a new one replaces it instantly! Don't take advantage of it, though, for you will die if you eat too much at once...

Moontree The Moontree is a shining silver birch that has glowing leaves. It is rumored that if you come here at midnight on the day a loved one dies and bite the split branch on the tree there is a 50/50 chance that they will be revived... do you believe it?

Enchanted Lake The Enchanted Lake is a shining lake, named "enchanted" because of the ice that covers it and never melts. Horses come here to greet one another and break holes to drink, living an easy life, and foals play together, sliding along the ice and laughing.

The Mountains of Grim The Mountains of Grim are called this because many horses come here to die, sick of the fighting and the horrible times that are here. Others come here to force claim a mare and some just to be alone. No matter why, it is a sad place to come and therefore has the name it was given.

The Afterlife
The Isles of Freedom The Isles of Freedom are the final resting place for those who have fulfilled their true life's purpose. There are silver lakes, green fields, and you never feel hungry or empty. Not a shadow passes through this place and the sky is blue as the ocean from dawn to dusk.
When your horse dies, please PM their Timeline to the administrator to see if they are granted passage to here.

The Depths of Despair Despair. Has it ever meant anything different? For those sentenced to live here for eternity, it does. Many find it to be like an evil place, yet to them it's like living in the fire equine territory. It's a hard life with little food and no time for fun, yet some actually quite prefer it here, because once you have done something proved worthy you might be moved to the Isles of Freedom...

Welcome
Hello and welcome to Fire and Ice! This is a role play about wild horses with the common elements, but we're different. We are natural horses with just 'teams' called elements. Also, we accept role players of all levels though we prefer intermediate. The last thing, we have cookies! *you see me hold up a cookie* Yeah, we're special ;-) and we'd love to have you! Any concerns can go to the Unknown board! Thanks for coming!
Chat Box
It has come to my attention that some people think that the chat box is an advertising box where they can post their links to their own sites. I am banning that. From now on any links in the chat box will result in said member/guest being banned from it. I know this is harsh but I am sick of people getting popularity off of us like that.
DO NOT ADVERTISE IN THE CHATBOX
Currently no listed bans. These aren't bans on members, just if you're wondering *wink*, these bans are on character types. It tells what type of character you can create. So far, all of them are available, so have fun!
