Freedom was born to Storm exactly a year after the elements came forth, being known to most as the prince of fire. His mother Adder was a fiery chestnut mare who fell for Storm and became his mate. Freedom grew up the envy of most foals and had no friends, but not because no one else liked him. He actually hardly noticed that fact. He didn't feel that he needed friends. Now, Freedom is independent as his mother died trying to bare Storm's second foal but he considers himself the leader of all Fires, to the annoyance of some. Shortly after that a beautiful ice mare fell for him and he loved her. They had met as both wandered in the forest, she living near the Oasis. They had mated yet almost been found out and stopped seeing each other. He has no notice of what happened to her.
